Jimmy is currently an investment professional at Citi Ventures, the strategic investment and innovation arm of Citigroup.
Previously, Jimmy was an investment professional with Canaan Partners in their New York office, looking at venture investment opportunities in technology. Before that, Jimmy was on the Product Marketing team at Facebook, responsible for both the auto-play video product as well as mobile ad units. When he first joined Facebook, he led their Pricing and Yield Management responsibilities as part of the Monetization Analytics team focused on the US business, with experience in Canada and Latin America.
His professional experiences also includes strategy and management consulting using analytics for financial services corporations, private equity consulting, investment banking with both Goldman Sachs (TMT) and JPMorgan (FIG), and various roles across start-ups (location-based services, e-commerce, retail).
Jimmy attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science. Jimmy recently completed receiving his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Operations Research.
He is an avid winter sports athlete, an amateur photographer, and a professional travel points collector.
